The car was going northbound on this road just north of Challis, Idaho, when it went down the embankment on the left side of the picture.

The car impacted this tree and then flipped over its hood, landing on its side facing backward against some other trees.

Despite all the damage on the other side of the car, the driver's side was relatively intact. Thanks to the designers at Toyota, my dad is here to support my mom.

When Janet is more responsive and awake, please tell her that Sandra Lengi is so thankful for having her as a Kindergarten mentor. Since having kids, I have been terrible at keeping in touch. Just a couple of weeks ago I was telling my husband how encouraging it was to have a mentor like Janet when I was starting my Kindergarten career. How odd that this comment would then end up in this blog at such a difficult time for such a caring, supportive lady. May the Lord be making her stronger each day. We will be praying for her.
