Great News

Word from the rehab unit, room 624, is that one Janet Hansen will be traveling by medical ambulance from Idaho Falls direct to Roseville this coming Thursday. Anyone available next weekend to visit? Let's order up some sunny weather for Mom's homecoming!!!

Amy left this morning, Bob will leave tomorrow, Vickie a few days after that, and Neil Alexander will be arriving by bus on Monday. He and Barry can swap bus stories... Meanwhile my Dad and Sylvia hang tough through it all!

Hello, dear Hansens. My mom gave me the news about your Thursday departure date. YES! She said Mrs. Hansen was "ecstatic". I bet she has never been this excited to fly! We are amazed she is meeting her therapy goals so quickly and happy she'll be moving into a new phase of recovery at home, sweet home.
Congratulations, and love from Dallas, (Jenny, Doug and Daisy)

Way to go Janet!!! You leave rehab on my birthday. I will have the kids get me a mint chocolate chip BR cake to celebrate the fact that you are going home and I will be 47. I won't celebrate the 47 as much as we will toast your road to recovery.

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend.
Love, Teresa Liu

Wow, I am totally impressed, Janet! I never doubted you could do it, I just wasn't sure how easily you'd convince doctors and PTs -- and you obviously flew past all the hurdles. I know it's a long road ahead, and PT demands plenty o' grit, but you got that, along with my love and congratulations.

Yippeee! for the great news! How great that you are once again showing everyone that they underestimate you! I am going to be in the Sacramento area the weekend of June 7 & 8 for a girl scout reunion but don't know the exact plans or day we will get together. I am hoping that while I am in your neck of the woods, that I will be able to come & see you. I wish I had more specific information & will let you know when I know more.

I bet you are all so excited to be going home soon. God bless you as you continue to heal.

hugs, Valerie
