gall bladder surgery

Anyone who prays, let's get started.  The surgery is more complicated than we thought at first and could have some unimaginable consequences.  Gigi needs a miracle.

I'm on it! I've been praying & will continue to do so. I am praying for your mom, all of you, & the doctors. I know this is a really scary & uncertain time for you so I will being praying that you all may experience the peace only God can give as you wait.
Tell your mom that I love her & give her a gentle hug for me (even if it is only a "hand hug".
Hugs & love to all of you. God bless you.

love, Valerie

I'm on it too. I'll make sure my parents know as well. They don't check the blog as much.

You guys are doing a great job as a family of a critically ill patient....as a recovering ICU RN I agree 100% with (was it Barry's sister who's a nurse in Seattle?), a family can never be too involved when it comes to the care of a loved one! Thinking of you all and praying for a full recovery!! Take care of yourselves too!! It's very easy to get so incredibly exhausted when the ride is this rough and the last thing any of you need is to get sick!
Hang in there!

I continue to think about you all. Brian and Janet are so lucky to have such amazing daughters. I am confident your support is helping every day! Please give Brian a big hug for me and tell Janet how much I am thinking about her. I will continue to to pray and think positive thoughts for you all. Love, Lisa

Hi Janet and Brian from Laurie in Roseville's best little thrift shop. Sure miss you guys and are keeping you my thoughts as I continue sorting, pricing, steaming and trying to take your places on Fridays. You are so fortunate to have such a network of support surrounding you, and we appreciate having this blog to keep us updated. Peace and healing to all. Laurie

Hansens:

Just got home and came to check on Janet. Prayers have been said every day for Janet and that won't stop. I'll just redirect them tonight to asking for the gall bladder surgery to go well.

Remember, anything you need, even at 2am.
Love
Vickie

We are praying for you guys all the time. God is with you. The roses your mom and dad planted in the front yard are amazing right now. I look outside from time to time just to see them, they make me smile. Our prayers will continue...

With love,
Amy, Matt, Riley and Megan

I also have you all in my thoughts and prayers every day. I think about you all the time, and I have to say, seeing the car was absolutely shocking. It IS a miracle that she's still here. Again, I'll say that Janet is a real survivor with a huge will for life and to be with her family and friends. In Walnut Creek, CA, I'm at dorkruse@aol.com or 925-937-7920and as I said earlier, I'll be around this summer if there's any way I can be a support. Tell Janet that ironically, a very good friend of mine from my teaching days in the S.F. bay area has moved to a home about two blocks away from what used to be Carmichael Junior High School where Janet and I first met and followed the boys around at lunch time. It can be a very small world indeed!
